Jillian joined Kirwan as a full-time Research Assistant in September 2009, after working as a Graduate Research Assistant for two years while she successfully completed her dual Master’s degrees in City and Regional Planning, and Public Policy and Management at The Ohio State University. Jillian works out of the “Opportunity Communities/Housing Program,” where her focus is in conducting policy research on a wide variety of topics affecting racial and ethnic marginalized communities including segregation, concentrated poverty, regionalism, housing, land use, economic development, and community development. She earned her BA in Sociology, and her BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2006.
