A native of Michigan, Leslie received both her BA and MA from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, where she also worked as an editorial assistant for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Wendy works jointly with the Kirwan Institute and the Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at OSU where she is an assistant professor.
