Applying Opportunity Mapping to Social Justice

“Opportunity mapping” has been completed for many metropolitan areas and used by advocates to further fair housing and community development goals. The Kirwan Institute for the Study for Race and Ethnicity has completed opportunity mapping in a dozen metropolitan areas, often at the request of community groups and advocacy organizations interested in community development and fair housing.
