The Institute has completed a series of maps and analysis addressing health care resources in New York City. This research focuses on the interplay between, race, class, preventative health care (such as primary care physicians and OB/GYN services) and disparate health outcomes throughout the city. Opportunity Agenda is utilizing this work in their broader advocacy efforts to assist local community activities aimed at halting hospital closures in several New York City neighborhoods. (Additional maps to be posted soon).
